Hey there!

My name is
Kaylee Costa

and the work I do today grew out of my own journey into motherhood.

Like many mothers, I found myself moving through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, feeding, and early parenthood with far more questions than answers. I remember how overwhelming those early days could feel, and how hard it was to find support that looked at the whole experience of motherhood.

That experience changed the direction of my life.

What began as a small Pilates practice in 2018 slowly grew into Costa Consultation, a maternal wellness practice built around the kind of care I believe mothers deserve: steady, informed, practical, and deeply human.

Today, my work brings together clinical lactation support, maternal and pediatric nutrition guidance, prenatal and postnatal movement, car seat education, perinatal mental health support, advocacy, and community-centered education. I support families one-on-one, through classes and groups, and through community work that helps mothers feel less alone and more connected.

I am also pursuing my MPH in Maternal and Child Health because I care deeply about making perinatal support more accessible, more equitable, and more responsive to real families. Feeding, recovery, movement, mental health, safety, and nourishment are all connected, and mothers deserve care that reflects that.

Outside of my work, I’m a mother to my daughter Kaia, who inspires nearly everything I do. I’m also a wife to Rodrigo and a proud cat mom to Dodo. On quieter days, you can usually find me squeezing in an evening Pilates session after bedtime, reading about hormones or the nervous system, or scribbling ideas in the notes app on my phone.

Supporting mothers through this season of life is both deeply personal and deeply meaningful to me. Whether I’m working with a family in their home, teaching a class, speaking in the community, or helping someone feel seen for the first time, my goal is always the same: to offer care that is steady, evidence-informed, and centered on the mother, too.
